At PayPal, we’re fueled by our diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. We’re committed to embracing people of all racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, veteran status, and abilities. A culture where everyone can be their authentic selves and do their best work is critical for us—both for driving business results and furthering our mission to democratize financial services for all.

How We're Getting There

Inclusion is a core value of our business. We are committed to cultivating an environment where employees and customers feel valued and supported.

We Champion Inclusion

We strive to attract, develop, retain, and invest in a diverse global workforce.

Across PayPal’s global workforce, we focus on reinforcing our values to help every one of our employees feel a sense of pride and belonging. From engaging diverse talent through implementing development and retention initiatives, we’re committed to nurturing a culture where everyone belongs, encourages personal growth, treats everyone fairly, and promotes workforce wellness.

We support initiatives such as the Veteran Jobs Mission, AfroTech, Lesbians Who Tech Summit, and Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement, which serve as invaluable channels to meet and attract today’s top global talent. Once we’ve welcomed an employee to PayPal, we work hard to provide our global community with opportunities for lifelong learning. Employees are encouraged to access thousands of learning courses, career development workshops focused on internal mobility and women in leadership, and PayPal’s Technology Leadership and Emerging Leader programs. To ensure our teams have all the tools they need to grow, we’ve invested in resources for managers to lead productive and inclusive teams, including the new Equitable Leadership learning experiences.

We achieved 100% pay equity in the U.S. for Black, Latin American, and Asian women, as compared to white male peers, and 100% global gender and overall U.S. ethnic pay equity.
