Blake Jorgensen EVP, Chief Financial Officer

Note: On September 14, 2022, PayPal Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Blake Jorgensen, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is taking a leave of absence for health reasons. The Board of Directors has appointed Gabrielle Rabinovitch to serve as the Company’s acting Chief Financial Officer and perform the duties of the principal financial officer of the Company.

Blake Jorgensen serves as PayPal’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, he leads PayPal’s global financial operations, including corporate accounting, corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analytics, investor relations, internal audit, and tax functions.

Blake brings nearly 40 years of leadership experience in financial and operational excellence across various industries and a deep understanding of consumer products, technology, and commerce to his role. Prior to joining PayPal in 2022, Blake spent a decade as the CFO and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Electronic Arts, helping to drive the transformation of the company, resulting in dramatic improvement in growth, profitability, and market capitalization. He previously served as CFO of Levi Strauss & Co. from July 2009 to August 2012 and CFO of Yahoo Inc. from June 2007 to June 2009. Before Yahoo, he served as COO and Co-Director of Investment Banking at Thomas Weisel Partners, which he cofounded in 1998. Earlier in his career, he held financial and operational positions at Montgomery Securities, MAC Group/Gemini Consulting and Marakon Associates.

Blake serves on Hasbro’s board of directors, where he is a member of the audit and finance committees.

Blake earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
