In addition to self-paced learning modules, we offer career development programs that help all employees build their skillsets and advance their careers.

Employee Total Wellness

Wellness is one of PayPal’s core values, and we offer programs and benefits that support each employee’s financial, mental, and physical health. We seek to create a flexible, balanced work culture and take a holistic approach to leave and benefits, which include parental preparedness resources, and a paid sabbatical every five years. PayPal’s Wellness Ambassadors also promote and educate our community on available benefits and resources, such as free online wellness coaching and mental and emotional health support through our Employee Assistance Program.

Our robust financial wellness offerings, including training and one-on-one sessions with financial planning professionals, allow our employees to be prepared for the future while also protecting them financially today.

Empowering Employee Giving & Community Impact

We have an important role to play in contributing to strong, inclusive communities in the places where we live and work. Our employees share this vision and are passionate about serving their local community.

Our PayPal Community Impact program provides a point of connection, inspiration, and learning for our employees globally, further connecting them to our mission. The program also enables employees to foster stronger relationships with local communities through volunteering, grantmaking, and other activities. Each employee can have their volunteer time and donations matched by PayPal up to $2,500 annually.

Our eight Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) serve a critical role in nurturing a sense of community and belonging, supporting talent recruitment and retention, and furthering our Belonging strategy. They also create opportunities for employees to make deeper connections across our global network. We are continuing to evolve our ERGs to support our business initiatives, while fostering a culture of belonging.
