Advancing women’s economic equity and empowerment

We believe that improving the economic lives of women empowers their families, communities, and the broader economy. PayPal has invested in expanding access to finance for women and girls through employee volunteering, partnerships, grantmaking, and policy evaluation.

Our employees have volunteered over 32,000 hours with organizations like Black Girl Ventures, Her Academy, Narika, and The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. Additionally, PayPal has partnered with Women’s World Banking to fund research and technical assistance on issues like addressing gender biases in credit scoring.
