Aaron J. Webster Global Chief Risk Officer
Aaron J. Webster is PayPal’s Global Chief Risk Officer, responsible for the company's global risk management function, including financial crimes, credit risk, fraud prevention, regulatory affairs, government relations, compliance, risk governance, and physical security programs.
Aaron has a long and distinguished career in global financial services, with experience in Latin America, Asia, Central Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to joining PayPal, he was the Chief Risk Officer at SoFi and led for the development of integrated risk management programs to support the launch and growth of SoFi Bank, NA. He also scaled global operations and established a presence in Latin America on behalf of the business to promote financial inclusion in the region. He also held senior leadership roles in risk management with Citibank, Toyota Financial Services, and GE Capital.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
